The Docomomo-Michigan annual meeting took place on June 22nd at the McLucas House, a midcentury architectural masterpiece in Grosse Pointe Farms. Over 30 members heard about the chapter's progress and activities, and enjoyed a tour of the sole-surviving private residence designed entirely by renowned architect and textile designer, Alexander Girard. At the reception that followed, members chatted with five notable Michigan Modern authors and mingled with attendees from the Docomomo-US Michigan Modern tour.
