Twenty-five people, including several new members and the Docomomo-Michigan board, gathered for an afternoon at the Henry Ford Museum on September 17th. After a short meeting, we were led through behind-the-scenes collection storage by four museum curators. They pointed out the extensive Herman Miller collection as well as Alexander Girard and Ruth Adler Schnee's materials, all of which are recent acquisitions. The rest of the afternoon was spent wandering in the museum.
